Nutrient Dense Smoothies

Nutrient Dense Smoothies

When was the last time you enjoyed a tasty nutrient dense smoothie? For me with spring arriving this also means that allergy season has also arrived. As we are now closer to home and many of us are considering different options to stay healthy. For me that begins with enjoying a nutrient dense smoothie in the afternoon at home. My goal is to support my overall health with more greens, vitamin C and a tincture to support my lung health during allergy season.

Typically for these smoothies I include 1 cup of frozen berries, 1 scoop of the Nested Naturals Greens, yes this is available in chocolate but not my preferred choice, 1 scoop of MediC Plus, St. Francis Herb Farm Allergy Relief- with deep immune, ginger root, a whole lemon, peeled. Add 1 to 2 cups of water, place in the blender and then blend.. You can be creative and add whatever you find tasty. I do alternate between fruit smoothies, with additional greens, and green smoothies with whole food and no sugar. Myself I prefer smoothies that are lighter and hydrating.

As allergy season has now arrived. I find the St. Francis Herb Farm Allergy Relief to be a true gift that includes beautiful herbs that are great for the lungs. Last year I used this product throughout allergy season and this supported me well throughout allergy season. Consider this? If you are out, keeping the recommended social distance, if someone sneezes, this could be an allergic reaction.

Consider what you could add to your smoothie? Perhaps you could consider replacing your mid-morning or afternoon coffee with a nutrient dense smoothie.

Wishing you a beautiful day. I hope you are finding your way to stay safe as we work through our new reality. Take good care. Be nourished in all you do.
