Lean into your strengths

As you begin your week consider what you are building through designing your practice moment by moment.

I am currently reading “Nine Lies about Work” written by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall.

I have been following Marcus Buckingham’s work for many years. The idea to focus on our strengths has always resonated with me.

In Nine Lies about Work a strength is highlighted as “an activity that makes you feel strong” The authors continue to share

“Appetite is more than ability, and indeed it is the appetite ingredient that feeds the desire to keep working on it”.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book questioning so many ideas around work.

The idea of appetite resonated with me.

What is nourishing us? In the work we are involved in can we operate more in our strengths zone? Does this feed our desire to continue to grow and learn?

As you move through your week consider how you can focus more on your strengths.

Similar to a Pilates or yoga practice what are you designing moment by moment?

Wishing you a beautiful week. Be nourished in all you do.
